There are no street lights in this alley... I am lurking in its shadows...I am the hunger of shadows. Standing alone...I'm trying not to think of you but your light pierces my darkness. Your love collides with my shadows... You were my wind and I was your chimes... I was your seed and you were my earth... Why couldn't we work it out...walk it through... talk it over...and find an answer somewhere in the night? |

Tony, I really like this poem, and the emotions you express,I like the line "why couldnt we walk it thru" and the use of the word shadow , it gives the poem real imagery take care janet marie Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time. Some emotions run too deep to be described by words, Forgiveness and understanding- remain the most beautiful words ever heard. Janet Marie |
