A dream to dwell in a lonely mind

A heart so lost and torn in pain
so close on by to pass again

and wither and wane in a golden chain

That is not what I see
That is what YOU have chosen to be !

Oh ..dearest dear…
I do not belittle your torment
to dismiss your hurt
for it is all you see,
and it is all you hear
My dearest dear…

Though it might seem to you now
that I’m a brat and brute
A bad rude dude
for not buying your line..
especially after you poured forth your heart
wide open for me
by giving away your hearts hidden key

But really ..
I am a good and wholesome dude
who tells it like he sees it
on the faintest chance
that you set yourself free
for no one else can do that

ONLY YOU

Safwan you offer a nice style of poetry here and also a web site with a book. Looks like lots more reads for the future. I enjoyed the comment on your opening page "Oh,...the obsession is gone/but herein dwells its spirit." Enjoyed the part I read so far. James
