I always told you I'm not a rock,
I am no impenetrable fortress,
Now your black blood has finally caught me,
And I bet you don't care to digress.

Spewing forth venom when the need takes you,
Sharing your feelings you call it,
To me or anyone else just a vicious attack,
That pushed me further into the tar pit.

Now the old mistakes and anger,
Have finally taken a toll,
Unquiet body and even my nerve endings,
I'm left with illness to hold.

You were warned, but you disregarded every one,
She must take it, for I deem it so,
She will reap that bitter harvest,
That you so carefully sowed.

Pain is now her companion,
Both physically and emotionally,
A stinging little reminder,
Of the tyrant you can me.

Push it further if you dare,
Then she may lose it all together,
Be locked away in an infirmary,
While you just stroll through the heather.

You'll have won then,
The ultimate price she'll have paid,
And you the one who should look after her,
Can have your trophy engraved.

I don't know about that, but I do know, I cannot physically take constant war.  It has finally taken it's toll.

Isis,
this poem is so great...I know this anger too... but from anger comes strength and then can come the healing and change...and our writing helps make us strong too.. Take care...stay strong...bless you, Janet Marie

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-
remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

Isis-
You deserve better. I have been there too...and from that anger comes a strength like none other...you can look back and say, "I've survived this disaster, I can survive what ever comes along next."

Good luck,
Venus
