Minutes fade into hours...then slowly turn into days,
Time seems like an eternity, frozen in winters gray haze.

Futures hold no promises, lost to residual love,
Nightfall calls in the silence-hovering over from above.

Whispered songs and verses search for meaning and rhyme,
Desperately looking for reasons, embracing these moments in time.

Memories console and comfort-your words return in poetic cascade,
Believing in this light-I will heal and keep the promises made.

Time will eventually release me, this pain will be spared,
Living in the lessons learned, the gifts of this love shared.

I do look for that light that you supposedly offer through your poem. I do hope that time does heal, because its been a while, and I am still hurting.i loved your poem.

thank you so much guys, for the kind words and encouragement, Everyone here has made me feel SO welcome, in each area that I have posted. You all are so talented and amazing. Everytime I visit I am so inspired.
To Stevia...as time heals our hearts the light shines brighter and warmer...I'm finding a lot of light in this place...Im hoping you too are finding yours.
