The beating of my heart slows with everyday that goes by
As I feel you pulling farther and farther away
Soon it will cease completely
This too faint murmur in my fractured heart.
Which would I be more grateful for?
Time-coming to a halt and this breaking of my heart becoming a perpetual ache,
Or time slowly creeping by-
As if prolonging the pain of my love for you.
Either way-I lose
And you win,
For you are unconsious of my suffering.
You, so carefree and happy and wonderful and loved
By me, so hurt and wounded and forever torn asunder.

surely "he" must know of your love for him, because such love can not be hidden...i like this poem alot! keep it up!

Yes, such sad and heartfelt words. It is a disheartening thing when the one you love has no clue to the value of that most precious gift you're giving.
