With misted eyes
I search the horizon
for glimpse of you.

I imagine your line,
the softness of your being,
the smell of your truth.

If only longing had the power
to bring you to me,
that I might taste your essence.

Yearning for your touch.
I'll not cry,
doing my best,

to save the tears
for the joy of
giving you all my love.

Whispering one last time,
I am still here, smiling
at the memories of us.

I'll try to bring you to me.
Once more,
seeing you in my dreams.

Till you find me
in yours.

(It wasn't my intention to use the same words in two different duets, but I loved the different flavor that came from it....)
