To reach peace and contentment To the western mountains he went Walking onward several a spring day Enjoying the ever rising pathway. A hill would rise before him Cresting in the wind Then the pathway would descend Partway down the other side Where just steps did hide The journey’s morn not then spied. Twist of path from origin Now obscured from him Fading from his memory, Slowly, so slowly, As he stepped away from friends, As the past would end Allowing the future days To control his ways. Gloom |

I am enjoying this journey... Do you think we can stop at Starbucks? "cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |
