Restive sprits dance away
Figurines begin to sway
Ideas swept up and discarded
Feelings dominate today
Souls away they don’t exist
Ideas running
Beaten with a fist
Don’t be thinking
It isn’t right
Take feelings and
…stumble into the night
Left without a thought
Wondering what ought
To be the answer
What should be the guts
Rending feeling
What should hover over a heart
What should pierce it like a dart
Keep mind away today
No mixing it into the fray
Feelings win the fight today
Ideas must go away
Minds must give it all away
No thoughts or idea allowed today

I liked the "idea" behind this. This is something people often wrestle with I imagine. (I know I'm constantly trying to find balance between work and home, for example.) Great writing as I've come to expect from you-always causing reflection...
