Small World The Earth so unknown and immense When Christopher was sailing, Has shrunk to travel time of hours; Its mysteries unveiling. The romance of the open sea That called this inquiring sailor Has lost most of its puzzlement. Seduction growing paler. Man always will climb mountains Or plumb the deepest caves; For only by such seeking does He satisfy his craves. As he penetrates the Heavens, Learns secrets of the sod, Each new discovery he makes Reveals the truth of God. He's found that all the parts of Earth Are so secured together That changing a small portion can Disturb the tides and weather. Each bit is necessary to The healthiness of whole. By altering God's blueprint, he Can jeopardize the soul. He needs now step with caution, Leave alone if he's in doubt. The betterment of man and world Is what God's plan's about. by: Joyce 4/29/04 |
