The heart may be a lonely hunter,
but it feeds in packs,
especially in the young
who most often feel the terror
woven in attacks
of what they can perceive as love.
Yes,
I'm old and you can say I'm patronizing
if it helps you feel secure,
though
I'd ask you only to be sure
you store those thoughts
until you're old too and have had the time
to watch
the longer weavings of your life unfold;
when we're young
the winds of karma blowing in the eyes
will force them shut,
try to test those timid lids of your's,
open them
before the monsters hiding in those winds
sneak up on you and bite your butt.

I think a regular large J&J band-aid should do the trick, though perhaps asking the person responsible to kiss the boo-boo may do wonders for your soul. *smile*

ahhh this was indeed constructive advice in done with finess and a great deal of love....older? I think not! Wiser? Most assuridly....you have the heart and mind of a scholar.
