Symmetric Poetry Gently sloping off the edge of night, the horizon slips into space, where that edge goes, is indeed darkness’s lifeless face. That horizon bends upward, and somewhere to join in with all the stars, while collecting shreds of moonlight and stardust dancing afar. Where there is no time for the clouds, and seasons all but fail. Where streaks of lightning poke and prod at passing comet tails. Where colors are vacant, if the light does not intercede. Where sound is a color, and whispered in a song, as far as the eye can see. Yet, it all has movement, and in a place that it must be, painted on life’s canvas like us all, deep in symmetric poetry… We are shackled by the moods of Meroe’s earthly queens, Candace, the like which has yet to be seen… |

very nice...extremely well done...loved the stanza "Where there is no time for the clouds, and seasons all but fail. Where streaks of lightning poke and prod at passing comet tails. Where colors are vacant, if the light does not intercede. Where sound is a color, and whispered in a song, as far as the eye can see." you have melded emotions so well in this one...they interact and intertwine with such finesse |
