Between the lining of a heart, soul, mind, and thee, cords trail and gently sway, contemplating, remembering the feel, before into a knot and bow ends gracefully entwine across and over, back again, as life’s inclined to do. Sealed and wrapped in heaven’s blue and sunshine recompense with arms akimbo in defence I merely stand and grin unchallenged for my being and for the receiving of mystical insights. The earthly sense of knowing, of empathy, of love, converted now and dispatched into mind’s imaginings still remain to tease and tempt discovery of the reason and result. And knots so carefully tied will one day realize there’s more to know, feel, embrace, when trailing free and clear than in a bundle untidy on the feet of hope. But I walk barefoot now and with every step I own the pain and pleasure, laughter, of my imaginings! Helen / 18 May 2004 |

"And knots so carefully tied will one day realize there’s more to know, feel, embrace, when trailing free and clear than in a bundle untidy on the feet of hope. But I walk barefoot now and with every step I own the pain and pleasure, laughter, of my imaginings!" this is such a powerful ending to such a very good write...I loved the lyrical properties and the strong cadence of the line breaks...nicely done... |
