In the cheekbones of words Thrives city buses with sneakers Driving lungs with liberty The wonder of shaped silhouettes Filling my mind’s fervent eyes Historical vacuums jump out shouting SURPRISE Self-propelled opals Spinning, weaving, flying high Consent melts deeply into my arms Like the first whim of a waterfall Heaven’s fingers grips the sky Wind sighs sweep across the unknown Like beauty hanging in the evening sky Elegant smiles sweetly expressed Melting a portion of cherished heart Considering the best part of the soul of sea Infusion of presence of mind Enrichments calling out across the moon’s surface In the cheekbone of words…. There shall we meet…sailing chanting breezes Speaking boundless spirits Within the compassionate song of hills Dancing red fire flames in the night Words of nature, leaping like tiny fireflies Magic, beating, dancing alive…oh the compassion The swift seething eyes of voice Foaming surf-line kissing morning beaches Fragrance of moon’s light Looking down, upon dew driven rivers Purring a tune softly to wildflowers Where humming birds meet, trading nectar Louder sweet and with movement Like a newborn fawn, within it’s green lagoon Standing for the first time, naked yet unafraid Magnificent wings of eagle, ventures to the next forest All helping themselves, helping others…words Puff their cheekbones to speak again |
