The quench of fresh spring rain Drizzled on the hedge again Where perfume of a happy earth Lifts of layers fluttered by That sigh becomes it’s own beguile Lighthearted notes to play awhile Through fabrics thick and thin Levitations sweep the eye A tickling of the leaves just new Enticing them from bud to view Flickering the sheer sarongs Silent breaths exhale Caress upon a china cheek Awaits the sun to finally speak In tremble peeks the unknown sky A fairer graze to sail In line dried scent That wafts the knees of discontent And takes the clouds away A whispered country mile Copyright Kkh 4/22/04 |

Reminds me of a soft quiet rainy day, nothing to do, staring out into the countryside listening to the rain. So relaxing. Thanks. JL ![]() |

Very beautiful description of a rainy day. These lines really struck me as clever" Caress upon a china cheek Awaits the sun to finally speak" Thanks for the read Jon "Only God can judge me" Tupac Shakur |
