standing on a shadow's lace

Beach Color Of Emotion New

I would like
to see a sunrise
in the view
of another’s eyes
where before
the day slipped
sun downed
in watery dip
feel gently
the drops of rain
counting sand
grain by grain
share a beach
oasis all our own
bend and blend
light for our tone
while watching a
lover’s whisper ride
on the splash
of a sweet tide
hold on to aches
that won’t let go
in a constant wave
we want to flow
an emotional
color all new
pigment burning the sky
of me and you
