Knotted Heart If you were indeed not that one, that I should love, I would nonetheless, my heart floating as light as the air above. Your words speak and move about, in and around the wind, to me as a stained glass window, colored lights shimmering in. To know, and not to hold or taste, but to see so deep within, I embrace my emotions quietly, and silently, knowing that truth’s trend. Unshared to any, apart from me, I will wrap it and twist it tight, showing no one my secrete, to pretend, within my own valorous plight, So… I will pay that bitter price, cue my words carefully, and oh so smart and no one shall discern, no one, except my knotted heart. |
