Ripening minds aching for picking Emotional residue is thickening How much my industry will offer Struggling over and over to fill the coffers Just a job my mind repeats Wanting more my soul defeats Lesser lights suppress the sigh Fearing mindless lullaby I reach into my deep down being Searching for the poetic feelings That capture mind and heart and soul No dreary mindless job is this No much more like spiritual bliss Then write all day and into the night Would do the coffers much but blight But fills the heart and soul so well But better not tell the job To go to h&%* |
