+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Children fill me up with joy, Each giggling girl ~ each bouncing boy. I see their world through glasses rose, ~ A land of magic where honey flows. A place of love where all be same, No race, no color ~ no wall of shame. Where all is done from pure of heart, Where all be one ~ not set apart. Knights do guard the castle keeps, ~ A land of mirth where no one weeps. Children joyous all the day, They sing and dance and laugh and play. The scent of flowers fills the air, Birds in song are everywhere. Grass is greener in this land, And every wish is God's command. Castles touching skies of blue, And fairies dance in morning's dew. Dragons snorting plumes of fire, And heavens ring with angel choir. Children fill me up with joy, Each giggling girl ~ each bouncing boy. I see their world through glasses rose, ~ A land of magic where honey flows. +*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (07-01-2004 11:35 AM).] |

children are the essense of life, spirit, trust and humbleness, curiosity to beat the band...they are untouched by negitivity, which makes for some very special and unique open conversations. You've brought me back very fond memories of my son, his friends and our youth group. Children are a joy...I do so love them. Thank you dear lady... |

Would that we could all see things through the eyes of kids, huh (though in my experience not all of them look through rose-colored glasses - my grandaughter for instance who doesn't take poo-poo off anybody, larger or smaller - and I haven't any idea where she got that attitude! - but then, she never loses her smile and is really friendly - who knows) I think we could all learn valuable lesson from children if we just observe. Neat write... jimmy |

I've always been accused of wearing rose colored glasses, so I'm slipping this pretty right into my library, so the next time someone mentions that fact? I'll just show them I'm not alone!!! |

it's refreshing there aren't many people I know who wear those |

Arctic Wind ~ Hi, there! I should spend more time reading the archives. So many poetic treasures are buried there. When I popped into this one, I was surprised to see this poem! I had forgotten that I had written it! I rather like it, myself! Love to you, EA |
