"Adoption" It's real life, my life Like a hurricane a bird takes flight My life has it's up and downs Sometimes a smile is plastered on my face Sometimes a frown I'm adopted and that's fine Because I have loving parents you see True, I never knew but I'm not blue I'm glad I know cause now I can go and when I go and when I'm low I know they'll be there to cheer me up I feel pumped and ready for action, my life is like a story, but I wonder what chapter I'm on Will I choose the right path or the wrong Adoption is my freedom song ------------- This is about me. I wrote it on 12-17-98. ~in order to gain, you have to lose~ |

Lisa, this must feel a little confusing if you just found out recently. But, you are right, it'll be alright with them behind you. .......jo |

iliana: Thanks! I was 10 when I found out. This poem was written when I was 16. My parents wanted to wait till I was 18 to tell me, I am now 22.I am so very glad I didn't have to wait that long. Lisa ~in order to gain, you have to lose~ |
