Slip into something comfortable and watch another soothing sunset with me, feel nature's natural tranquility as you bathe in the glow of amber lights spell, warm colors cast upon the miles of farm fields where waving grains of summer yields a bounty fit for royalty; a fantastic feast for mind and body as far as the eye can see. Sit silently as retiring daylight wanes, while an anxious moonbeam waits it's turn to captivate and steal the show. Even the barn animals turn their eyes to the ever-changing western skies. All eyes appear to be held captive by the west. Perhaps this night's sunset will be the best? And sunsets never disappoint, do they? So slip into something comfortable and enjoy nature's powerful pageantry. Watch another soothing sun set, with me. |

Kacy, Just a second while I go get my camelhair speedo! If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

I can't even trade you one of mine for one of yours anymore now can I too close! If you want to hear a really bad blonde moment I had, one day I asked Nan if the moon there was full too! (true!) shhh, don't tell anyone I said that okay? Kacy, you captured her beauty well in this, and trust me if Larry's wearing his speedo, I am so sorry I missed it.stuff, both of you! |

Well certaintly glad I spent this time with you because we've had nothing but RAIN and today one helluva thunderstorm - right over top my house. It sounded like every lighting bolt was hitting my trees and before any bolt could fizzle away there were two or three more...it was really an awesome display. wish I was there - speedo or not - but alas, I'm All Wet anyway. jwesley |

Kacy I have seen some pretty western sunsets...especially when the sun falls into the Pacific ocean...it almost sizzles. Where are you? A lovely poem! I'm about to see it happen here. |

With your words I was there, seeing the beauty of the setting sun and the magic of the coming night sky. I truly enjoyed this. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

*sigh* my digital camera card read FULL from all the horse photos, just as the sun was painting the clouds a bright pink over a two-tone blue sky *sigh* next time, I'll remember to leave a few shots available for the gorgeous Oregon sunset Martie, I am now living southwest of Portland, Oregon, in stunningly beautiful Yamhill county, which is wine/farming/horse country. |
