Caved in Vortex

A question in wait,
time notwithstanding, a backward query,
a comma in possession,
O of birthing thoughts,
eyes too big to behold

I am a poem in wait.

Where would you put me, then,
as bloodlines are tined true,
my mind is already furrowed with deeper thoughts
than you have imagined.

I am too old for you,
and yet I runnel even upwards, towards earth,
as times unraveled via
excavation…

I am already lost, once…I was here before you,
written and spoken of,
but Alzheimers struck
and lost me…

I unraveled, and yet, birthed again…

My feelings are here,
but my past words futured not;
I am undone.

I am...alien?  Or am I

a poem,
undelivered?

You alone hold me.  I am your egg.
Fertilize me, and I may grow.

But be careful.
Stagnation is permanent.

and then your ending!  Very impressive to my mind.  Truly enjoyed.  (The artwork?  do you paint with media other than words?)

No, my friend.  My only "art" might be in words, and my camera.  Period.

I cannot paint, for I've no talent.

I thank you for your eyes, and your soul.

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Sunshine,

I bet you try too hard for I see an artist in you.  If you were to only use colors and not try for a realistic scene, I bet you'd be pleasantly surprised.   If these are photos you've taken, they are full of artistic elements...

The sad part of not being the first to respond is that you've so many fans that they get the good lines.  Your gifts continue to enchant.  KJ

Karilea

Your wisdom is unmatched along with artistic talents which make you a master at anything you do.  Deep thinking and definately in touch...wonderful poem...although, made me sad.
