Home once again, where i belong, alone and with nature. Human life packed away in boxes, put aside until i can bear it again. To the call of the Chaffinch i now take myself, it's call cools my mind, eases my soul. Only Mother Nature can do that. Verdant green land of early summer, Swallows whistle past Grebes on sun dazzled lakes. Terns balancing on posts in the fresh wind. Ah the wind, rushing life giving air to everything that breathes. Rustling giant blades of grass that are realy reed beds. At the edge of the field, a Hare ate contentedly, with the sun on his face. An unlucky omen to see. Lapwings call their common name ''peewit'', while Reed Warblers chatter to the glories of heaven. Breath of breeze blows refreshing on my face. Nature i was born to be with thee, my life nothing without your beauty, with you there are no conditions, you respect me whatever i do. That this life should have a meaning, to me there is no doubt. My meaning is to love life and nature's beauty in equal measure. ''Death where is thy sting? Love where is thy glory?'' William Shakespeare. |

I like the back to nature theme of this and the last line wraps it all up beautifully. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Beautiful piece here...I too love nature so much, love to get back to it whenever possible.. Your writing here gives me the feeling of wanderlust. ~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~ Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that. |

The glorious smile in your photo must pale in comparison to the one you most surely radiate when you are out enjoying Mother Nature! ![]() Lovely poem from a nature-loving spirit! ![]() EA |

Beauty is what you see, for the beauty flows from inside.... I like it when you hold my hand and I walk through nature with you, you showing me details and I can hear the birds gently singing, and smell the fresh flowers...
