It rained enuff today
I watched it kiss the ground
"don't run in the rain; walk."
I know, I know too well.
I know you get more wet.
That would never stop me.
Time is much more precious
than just more or less pain

If it didn't wash off
My layers of makeup
maybe I would walk slow
