I need your hand in my hand
There's lotsa scattered stars  tonight
I have no other vision in my dreams
Than walking with you in the moonlight
And there's only one condition
I would like to change
I wish you could be here with me
On Chesapeake Bay

I know a distant voice called you
From somewhere far beyond your home
Some drifting potion from a future time
Returned to take away your soul
And in my disturbed acceptance
I watched my good luck fly away
Now I wish you could be here with me
On Chesapeake Bay

[Bridge]
Walking near the wet kiss of the ocean
I keep hearing your eager call
Remembering how we'd meet
Beside the roaring deep
Like you never left at all

So I been waiting for the next adventure
Cause I need to set my mind to rest
But the good times are gone since you passed on
Can't find a hope to fill my chest
Still missing you has kept me restless
I think about you everyday
And I wish you could be here with me
On Chesapeake Bay

Ain't doin nothin at all
Just answerin the call
Kinda driftin away from it all~~~~~

Sweet longing is sung here.  I'd love to hear it to music.

Beautiful Eric..another I would love to hear put to music.
Hugs~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Eric,

I have to tell you, that except for the one you wrote for your writing buddy, this is the best of them all at least to me.  Can you send me a link when this one goes on the site?  Absolutely beautiful!  Like JM, you had me on the title (kinda like Neil's Harvest Moon thing) see?  A woman is a sucker for these titles as you notice?

This is great for their upcoming "Crab Days Festival" at the end of July.  Absolutely beautiful spot to visit.

loved it, ethome!  Especially caught by the power in this line:
"Can't find a hope to fill my chest"
              enjoyed,
