Wonderment Today I ride the mundane view But yesterday it was not true For time has run the go of course And I am drained my powers source Each flower blooms a wonders coup Then bows before tomorrows brew For time keeps busy in its chore Changing grime and making more And on the day of every way We smile a smile or tear to stay And wonder at the seasons wend Why it came and why it end It comes to us a mystery The changing and the history The start and finish of each one The clay is shaped and then redone But I have come at last to know All things need time to sew and grow. |
