If you scratch upon the surface
You will reveal a part of me
But if you delve a little deeper
Into my soul is where you'll see

I share much of myself
More than you'll ever know
Love helps to guide my pen
As the words ebb and flow

My words are my foundation
They help express my point of view
As you come to know this writer
Into my heart I'll take you to

Love dominates my heart
To hatred I am blind
With my words I paint a picture
And I reveal what's on my mind

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you
