A Midnight Fairytale

Of the night time when the children are all asleep
The fairy's come out to play, hide `n' go seek.
There's Saucy Sam, who sneaks, and Tinka-bell, who tiptoes
And whatever Joyful Joe does, who really knows.

They creep round the corner and jump the fence
'Gee this is fun' yells out Dorky Dence.
With Funny Forger counting, and Jiggle Jeff cheating,
And Mighty Mike looking and seeking.

The moon does shine as bright as day,
When the fairy's laugh as they play.
Wacky Wayne made it to bar,
But not so lucky was Cackle Car.

Porky Peg, running hard and fast
Caught poor little Quirky Quentin with his leg in a cast.
Naughty Nibble, being bad of course,
Has Zippy Zoo, kicking mad like a horse.

Happy Hindu runs and runs as happy as could be
But not so happy is Sad Suzy.
From a hard nights playing, they all fall fast asleep,
Until tomorrow, they begin a fresh game of Hide `n' go seek.'
