Luna, Touch My Knowing
~*Marge Tindal*~

~Out across vast
yon’ ebon of velvet night
waltzes moon in wayward flight
Skirting, flirting with passing stars
clear to Jupiter and halfway to Mars
Around the universe, immersed in glow
rays-in-haze to creatures here below
Behind a crinoline of clouded disguise
peeking discreetly out on other side
Never hiding her light for too long
curtsy to poets in sing-of-song
Luna, of love-light glowing
touch my knowing~

~It is approaching the phase of New Moon, darkly mysteriously on this night
Gathering light from the stars ... to wear at Full Moon height~

How many ways are there to write about the moon? You should put together a book! BTW thanks for the poems and photos of your grandchildren. I am going to be a new granny this month, a new girl, sister to #1.
