I stand accused
Of thinking too much
Shirking emotion
Shrinking from touch
But I am not guilty
Of shirking at all
Sometimes analytical
Sometimes withdrawn
But love the touch sensation
Love being so close
Intimacy beckons
I run all the way
Not just physical touch
But mind and hearts too
A soul thrown in offers
So much for the stew
So accuse me of thinking
I do that yes I do
And not always feeling
The same as another might do
But I care for the many
Who struggle and wait
For closeness with someone
Especially their mate

It's a hard balance to hit, isn't it? I used to think too much and feel almost nothing....now I feel too much and I have to admit that there are occasions when I think almost nothing......
