lately ive been noticing that a great friendship i have has been drifting away, since my friend got herself a boyfriend, and has him as her best friend, which is great, but i wrote this for her to let her know that i dont begrudge this at all, and will always be there just in case things go bad. i havent given it to her yet. you walk along the beach leavin footprints in the sand following a path in your mind, an ever-changing plan you look behind and see 2 sets of footprints, u dont understand and then you feel something on your shoulder, a helping hand beside you all the time just in case you start to crumble keeping out of your way but always there in case you stumble you feel the rumble of the waves as they crash upon the shore the cool water excites but washes away what was there before you see the helping hand stuck on the edge of the tide you think you want it back but the water will be your guide in time perhaps the water will recede beyond your grasp and then you may stumble and need that helping hand at last but if that day never comes youll always see it on the sand and you should rest easy knowing that helping hand understands |

To have even one true friend in this life is riches beyond compare. A well written wonderful pledge. INclan |

Friends are forever when friendships are nurtured. This is a very nice thing to do for a friend. |

“keeping out of your way but always there in case you stumble you feel the rumble of the waves as they crash upon the shore the cool water excites but washes away what was there before” This part really tells the whole story. Excellent write. Really enjoyed reading this. JL |
