his leader always raised her hand vigorously and cut in while others were speaking in can't-be-helped defiance, he didn't approach her to discuss matters during their partnership now regretful of how he wasn't big enough to grapple head-on with his displeasure that night, in between shifting positions again from the uncomfortable silence and seeing, yet not taking in the heroics of the latest Euro match, he felt his brother beside him very much aware that he would not have acknowledged if he were his brother a lifetime's worth of avoidance unveiled stunned, he could only pretend to drink from unmelted ice |

Sad. Well-written by the lamenting heart. A very potent message. I enjoyed it quite a bit as it was but the message will linger with me today. Warm regards, Kevin |

kaile, I learned late in life that "peace at any price" isn't peace at all. It's hell. I once stalled an appointment with a friend for two weeks knowing it was his intent to confront. Trust me, it was hell. I still think you are wise beyond your years, but I like that about you. ![]() If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
