A Place There is a place for all my thoughts Stored in keep, a reminder of A time when joy would fill the air And feelings felt, were that of love. There is a place that holds the past Though times are rough and wishes lost. Stored in keep, I hold the hope To forfeit some, a practiced cost. I take the blame for all that's wrong The easy road for other's lift Transporting me to days of then When warmth of touch was such a gift To elevate, to let me soar To higher ground, than what's below. I am a passenger in life Whose spirits wax and wane in flow. I dread the morns' assisting death Distaste the dreams that nightmares hold. Aimlessly I wander each, In reverence of the uncontrolled. I see your face in same of hers, The process stalls for some unseen. Today a touch of stone seems cold As I am lined here in between To moment self, to value time To measure all, complex though pure. I treasure all the thoughts that rise And know beyond, pain is no more. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." (Will Moss) |
