Could it be, that life now has a meaning? Could it be, I have met my counterpart? Is it real, or will I wake from dreaming? And will such cruel illusions break my heart? Is she real, the woman I am seeking? Does she, did she, could this girl exist? All her kindness, gentle understanding- Are things I find that I cannot resist. If I dream, I beg you, don't awaken... For 'tis heaven that I now experience... Now at last, romance my heart has taken... And I'll never willingly depart from hence. Could it be, I do not have the answer... I suppose that time will tell the tale. But I wonder if my life will be worth living- If in this, like in the past, I fail? |

Hi cowboy!! Good to hear there is a lady in your life.. Always go after what you really want... If it is meant to be...she will be waiting. ~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~ Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that. |

Well, I hope its real for you. Dreams are all well and good, but the real thing is so much nicer. Well written. Sandra |

From one gunslinger to the original Gunslinger I say get back on that pony and ride! What a shame to not put it on the table when one devotes the same time to the same feelings you do. I took my wife horseback riding on our first "blind" date and we've been together ever since. We both had been really hurt in our previous relationships. She was going through a divorce and was raising her son on her own. I got the best reward in my life for taking a chance...a wife and a son. Now, years later, I have two sons. I would have taken the risk over and over again. It is well worth the risk. I wish you tons of luck my friend. P.S. - I'll be slingin' tonight. Hog huntin'! I can almost taste the meat! God bless this Texas countryside. In solidarity, Kevin |
