Morning Shower

bathing in sunlight
at my patio door
rinsing in the breeze
that cools my heels
and wraps my calves
breathing in the edge
of summer’s approach
what shall I drink
but the nectar
of the blossoms at hand
that stand
at the perimeter
of my living
and adorn
the quality of my life
with untold blessings
as they unfold
their true colors with glee

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

outstanding, I saw a shadow standing there with fond admiration brushed across his face, which gives and improves quality of life...just to know we are loved.

Awesome write
