The Birds that Sing

My answer to the birds that sing
Is utter silent listening?
Embracing awe that floods my core
And lingers like the winds that roar.

Dancing through a living goal
Lancing coup within my soul
Lending feed to porous soil
Building roil to stay a foil

It is a source of pageantry
A lulling force of pleasantry
A titillate of natures wild
A seasoning of tasty mild

It is a pillow rests my mind
A sanction of the sweetest kind
A puff of wind that dries the sweat
The labor of a life’s beget

I offer up my hand as perch
A limb upon my tree of search

~Morning hugs, Nancy~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Sy,
I couldn't agree with you more.   Their song is so uplifting in the breeze.  Again,
enjoyed enjoyed another poetic song of yours.

This poem sang right to my heart.

~ Make like the birdies and chirp the day away!

How you manage to come up with so many wondrously unique themes on a daily basis is an indication of the magnitude of your creativity, mind, and talent, Sir Sonneteer!

Good morning hugs!

Although it is raining miserably here today, I hear at least one bird singing now!  And he sings a melody so bright and sweet.   ....jo
