A Tale of Tails

puppy tails wag
cattails wave in the breeze
cottontails hop
foxtails knot up my socks
snail tails slime
nursery tales rhyme
white tie and tails
are wonderf’ly sublime
swallowtails flit
horse tails switch
fish tails swish
blue tails fly
when summer is high
and if truth be told
my tale’s now old
now watch the spelling
so your thoughts don’t hold
some erroneous ideas
that leave you cold.
