Flares The flare of sun across our space Creates the night and day of lace Plays a broker of our seed Is a part of primal need A catalyst for this plumb A strategist of the sum A player in this ball of grime Spinning in an orbits time It gives to us our energy And symbols for our fantasy A part the mortar and the glue A porter of our point of view It can be both of life and death A partner in the life of breath A power source to use as feed A feed to fill the senses need I give to thee thy due in space And thank thee for thy mantles lace |
