Flares

The flare of sun across our space
Creates the night and day of lace
Plays a broker of our seed
Is a part of primal need

A catalyst for this plumb
A strategist of the sum
A player in this ball of grime
Spinning in an orbits time

It gives to us our energy
And symbols for our fantasy
A part the mortar and the glue
A porter of our point of view

It can be both of life and death
A partner in the life of breath
A power source to use as feed
A feed to fill the senses need

I give to thee thy due in space
And thank thee for thy mantles lace

The sun sees so much, by beam of touch,
for it glitters all day in space
it brings together the poets to muse
then leaves so moon can shine it's face...

You do leave me in a twinkle...
Good morning, Sy!
