Captive Heart ….. [Konrad Feels] Your voice closed vistas today, coming in via glimmer of light, shimmering over as if water-dancing across a forsaken desert and in filtering through the dust, it left me hungry in unimaginable ways; for your voice took my own and your eyes stole mine, and the air that I use to breathe? Seems empty and spent. I need your voice again, to fill this inane desire… for I’ve never forgotten you. But you’ve stripped me of all my words… leaving my mouth vacant, my lips, dry. How will I ever let you know? |

Yes, this is a keeper. This one is a heartwarming poem that reminds me of the way I feel about my wife. She completes me, makes me whole. Thanks for reminding me in such a beautiful way. Kevin |
