Apart Although we seem to be apart You are the focus of my art You’re the conversation of flame You are the purpose and the aim You occupy my inner eye You are the song I seem to sigh Fill the filigree of my heart You are the beating living part. I hold you in my mental play You are the sunshine of my day The star that guides me through the night The morning’s dew that forms in light You are my season of mature You are my reason to endure You are the blessing of my grace You are a place I hold in space You are the bubble of my sphere. In other words I love you dear |
