Empty of the words I used to know Tapping edges on the slate tops glow As dust Although the gentle rain scatters An Aria for my nerves it patters Inclined of moist, a beaded song in silver voiced But rust The few of things that matter most still do Just silent coves in treasure troves of you There red might cause a change to rearrange Or bust The basis of it all just remnants of the fall Of stars ground to the finest mellow, moon drops lemon yellow Silken powder blown aware that lands upon concoctions fair Remembering sifts through the air Just trust Copyright Kkh 6/9/04 |
