Between the Lines

0 posted 2004-06-07 08:44 AM

Sun's touch warms the morning air
as fog lifts slowly to reveal the day.
In the distance, she waits the return
breaking down the moments

just another day to some...
not enough time for others,
while the quiet sets in.

I have collected her in words
that which no one knows,
between us a comfort
that takes away the chill.

How much longer is up to her,
her strength beyond that of mine.
Her fight against odds
not far from releasing her
to another world, where
she will own her peace.

Today is traveling day, soft thoughts
carried in my bag of memories...
Mother and daughters' time to share.

M
