The sun still rises like always
The wind still refreshes my mind
The stars still light the path
Of the emotional road we find
The memories of you still linger
In the day and in the night
It's been seven months now
And you're still in my every sight
Each morning I open my eyes
To the nightly lonely stare
I can still feel every moment
When you use to care
Those days are long gone
Yet the memories are still here
Wondering if I will ever get over you
Is my one and only fear

A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness.

Dark Kisses -- How well you expressed these feelings of being hopelessly in love.  Sometimes, it's just really hard to let go.

I hate to break it to you but it may be a well-founded fear (from experience)

Wonderfully expressed

I understand that feeling where memories linger and having someone forever on my mind  day and night
