Emotional riptides swell my tongue
So much to feel, my senses reel
A banquet of the love you make in me
Where once my heart knew poverty
That drives the searching questions from my lips
An overwhelming water fall to flow on rock wall hips
Your spirit is too light to wade the midnight dips
And silence is your covering of choice
Yet I know the reasons never given voice
Too heavily my heart appends these sleeves of yearn
Yet in your gaze a comfort I have never known and want to learn
That you would reach the depths of me
And curve the silhouette of moonlit prodigy
Beneath your touch my answer comes…in miracles
