Empty

I thought I could handle
whatever comes my way
but there are some times
words can not display
the feelings, inadequate
to share and rise above

I sit here in thought
with no words to speak of...

Maureen, I have a pretty good idea of where you're sitting....no wonder you are at a loss for many words -- but this said it all.   .....jo

Maureen - Sometimes when we are silent and still we can hear so many things so rest for awhile to gather and keep the comfort of what we cannot see.

I know the feelings, Maureen.
It doesn't feel good.
Hugs, my friend.
