Thinkers browse and reference ancient fathers
Devotion fastens seasons to life’s personal options
Like echoing aftershocks
Railing against torrential rains
In nanoseconds
Which stings the eye of all flaunting senses
Destroying child like innocence
Very late morning additions of newspapers
Crowd my suitcase in a neutral place
Where I become an emigrant in my own land

Colors and shapes revolve around experience
Sarcasm poisons the tone of manly interests
Sneaking up on the driving forces of artists
Bouncing back and forth like a question of reason
It hesitates, like moisture draping enigmatic fear
Even the Eyes of March wears contacts
Looking out long windows of vulnerable hearts

While homicidal rates climb social confederacy
You don’t have to shoot a gun to kill a person’s heart
Owners of dogs with iron fences
Stow away behind locked doors
Searching for clues despite the arms of their lovers
Their beliefs now have editorials
And you only have to lie to me once

There I am with a pregnant memory
In this world of car wrecks and intoxicated reporters
Global Awards chew into realism
Working arduous midnight shifts
Undertaking retrospect honing in on well
Established very small turning points
With a powerful medium
Who obsesses about some theme of motivation
Tickling unpredictable imaginations

Keeping a journal of site and design
Tasks of the artist, mirrors objectives of its owners
Sharing an internal train which never stops
You can three-hole-punch them into a scrapbook
But their virtue will never be stopped

Recording the heart of each day tried and true
Remembering the mementos of Anne Frank’s future
Does time change things really?
Or do people die as they lived?

When writing down thoughts,
One never knows where it leads
As light always seems to flow
Thoughts through trees
Launching humanitarian missions
Causing widespread alumni graduating from
Every disaster
Where larger shipments of HOPE
Focus on millions of significant steps
Together weaves a festival
Screaming, “You Aint Seen Nothin Yet”!

LeeJ
Unfortunatly what you say is true. And the answer lies in the children. But it hasn't happened yet. The question is will it ever?
Thank you and take care.

if I took all of my thoughts ever
and just picked one or two
and made them the world

like God did back then

I wonder which ones
I would pick
would they oppose
like love and hate

or would they combine
like love and like

it is where your poem took me
now I will be messed up with this all day

(really dug it LJ...)

There are so many beautiful deep thoughts in this write.  So much to ponder.
You are an amazing thinker, poet, and philosopher.
Very nice Lee J.
