I cannot lift your sorrow Can’t erase the pain That buckles your knees Makes your feet forget walking I can’t tell you tomorrow Will be a better day For we’d both know That’s just wishes talking All I can do is stand with you Support you, lend you a hand Let you know you’re not alone In this hell we can’t understand I cannot dry your tears But I can mingle mine with them And I do. In memory of and respect for the almost 33 years you defined your life as Jimmie's wife. |
