where the wild flowers grow

Time cannot mend
it is not thread,
and if it were
it'd be too brittle,
fraying at the ends.

  I am captured
by brilliant lights
fluttering between my fingers,
but I could never feel them.

Matter
is dependant upon it's form,
juxtaposed with like shapes.
Words lose meaning like this,
so I refuse to write them.

I only draw
  obscure paintings,
formations of trust -
androgynous, geometric beings
that escape from me in the night.

When there is no problem
  but there is one.
Mistakes and
poor conclusions.

I decipher a fate not my own,
much like the letters
forming words
that have been spoken
many times before me.

I don't yearn for the
color,
merely
the defining moment.

whoa!  the entire poem was so significant, each line packed with meaning, but the last line packed a wallop...what an elegant and most enveloping poem.  I loved this.

*nodding*  yep another master piece.

Yanno, for months now for some bizarre reason that I can not explain everytime I hear the song, "My Immortal" I think of you.  I have no clue why...

Yes! absolutely wonderful.

oh the color can be so inviting tho; the lines are too harsh for me, tho i could use some definition too;
so much in here all at once , pulling me back to read over and over

~ Yes, and you write of "defining moments" in a most unique and special way. You have the gift of poetry, Dear Kaoru!

I've read this many times now, and I never know quite what to say, and every time, a different part of it stands out to me.

emotional brilliance.
