If I could only look into your eyes one more time And tell you what you mean to me How I loved you like no other If only my heart could be seen I would give anything to hold your hand in mine To feel the gentleness of your touch Wrapping myself in your arms at night ANd how it meant so much If only one more chance One more chance to show you My love was unconditional My actions were always true I pray to the gods each night Hoping you hear my call Listen to your inner thoughts Please listen before I fall The only message I send to you Is that I love you just the same And if you ever feel lonely Just call out my name For you won my heart long ago And you carry it every day This you will soon realize And find your home my way A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness. |
