Sleep The restless flight your heart takes night To crescent of a hidden bend of light Surrendering my cares the rhythm draws me there Attuned in breaths drawn deep and low we share Repeal of what ideal spread across your chest My hands to wander softly all the very best These sheets of linen pleat, away and downed For love set free its dimpling surround And all that aches the crevices of old Washed gently from your secret life aloud unfold Again and over easy clothed in breezy songs Exotic in the waterfalls as love and all it longs Sleep The peaceful rest that will request its time My fingers play the melody our bodies sway in mime Copyright Kkh 5/31/04 |
