To-day it rained.

Like the skies had
opened up their patio doors
and persuaded heaven's tears
to join in matrimony
with the salty droplets
that refused to cease
spilling from my dispirited eyes.
The bloated, offending clouds
dried up with envy
of this surreal union,
and a blazing sun appeared
just long enough
to paint a rainbow
with the fervent colours
flowing like ribbons
from my melting heart.

To-day it rained.

Aw, now it's raining here, too...
what magic you conjure...
and what love you bring, when
you post your lovelies...

i felt that today too; did i make it rain, or did it rain just for me, as my tears were in sync with it this morning

yes Chris, today it rained, a most necessary element, yet sooner then later, the rain is absorbed and up births a new seedling
